The Fjord 40 Open is the first in a long run of introductions from the new development program at Fjord after they joined a in a close cooperation
with HanseYachts AG. Fjord plans to launch more than 15 new models in the next 4 years, and will through this take an aggressive stand to play a major role in the future motorboat market. The design-language of the Fjord 40 Open reveals what can be expected from Fjord.

Together with Patrick Banfield, one of the industry's most distinguished motor yacht designers, and Mark Tucker, from Design Unlimited, Fjord has created a truly innovative design & concept. With an aggressively modern, yet appealing exterior, the new Fjord 40 Open will stand out in any crowd. With its clean, uncluttered and stunning design features and an extravagantly spacious exterior, the new Fjord 40 Open offers the following:

• A dual feature exterior dining/seating area for up to 12, which readily converts to sun beds
• In total more than 10m� of sun beds
• Walk-around deck
• Fully adjustable custom helm seating for three at the console
• A fixed bimini for sun protection
• Spacious wet bar and pantry
• Accommodation for two in the cabin below
• Shower and toilet with more than 2m headroom

The new Fjord 40 Open features an epoxy composite hull and structure designed to improve strength, safety and, above all, comfort at sea.

The Fjord 40 Open is equipped with Volvo Penta IPS diesel engines, reaching top speeds of 36 - 44 knots, depending on choice of engines.
