Malibu’s newest dynamo the Wakesetter VTX has just been announced the winner of “Tow Boat of the Year” by US Power Boat Magazine at the annual 2007 awards for product excellence banquet on Saturday night (May 5). Powerboat magazine is heralded by the U.S. marine industry as the Worlds leading performance boating magazine.

This win makes an unprecedented “6 in a row” for Malibu and further reinforces the Wakesetter Brand as the most popular and awarded Wakeboarding boat in the world.

Introduced into the Australian model line up just 3 months ago, Australian production for this model is already near capacity at Malibu’s expanded state of the art plant in Albury NSW, and it is creating demand not seen since the re-invention of the already famous Wakesetter VLX back in 2005.

“We knew from the minute we set eyes on it last year that she was a winner” said Malibu’s manager of sales and marketing Simon Hill
