Furthermore it's one of the most convenient outboards on the market, with easy steer friction control that lets you adjust steering tension for comfort and better handling and a 12 AMP alternator to keep the battery charged at any speed.


Super Handling Power
The BF15 is the only engine in its class equipped with gas assist tilt variation, perfect for effortless engine tilt-operations and shallow water running. Cruising is improved and more comfortable with Honda’s unique pendulum-motion mounting system. This system is especially designed to eliminate vibration and maximise user comfort, allowing you to travel along the water with ease.

In addition to being incredibly lightweight, all BF15 models deliver both ease of maintenance and transport. With a long-stroke design and class-leading 350cc displacement, this engine is a top performer, providing optimum torque throughout the entire RPM range. A foldaway carrying handle positioned at the exact top/bottom balance point enhances portability and makes it easy to carry the engine in a level position.
