Thanks to its exclusive Supercharged and Intercooled design, Verado™ delivers dramatically better torque and acceleration than any comparably sized four-stroke and most two-strokes – from hole shot all the way to wideopen throttle. UNMATCHED RELIABILITY
All major structural components – such as the crankshaft, connecting rods and bearings – have been specifically designed and built for this Supercharged powerplant. An entirely new gearcase has been designed to provide the maximum in performance and
reliability. And Verado has undergone more than 25,000 hours of testing – making it by far the most comprehensively proven marine power ever produced.

INCREDIBLY QUIET – WITH DRAMATICALLY REDUCED VIBRATION
Extensive sound-lab testing has resulted in several revolutionary noise-canceling systems, including an insulated and isolated cowl system, patented muffling chambers in the supercharger’s air-induction system and a specially designed idle-relief exhaust silencer.
The result is an outboard so quiet that at full throttle you’ll hear more wind and water than you will engine. And the revolutionary midsection uses an exclusive fourpoint, progressive-rate, perimeter-mount system to decrease vibration by 50 percent.

SMARTCRAFT DIGITAL THROTTLE SHIFT  
SmartCraft DTS brings digital precision to boating’s shift and throttle experience. That means the action is smooth and instantaneous, and traditional performance lags are eliminated. Even the slightest movement of the throttle yields immediate and dramatic results. Acceleration is greatly improved – from hole shot, through midrange, and all the way up to wide-open throttle. And because the entire system is digital, there’s no need to tighten or readjust cables for the life of your boat. SmartCraft DTS is also the most proven marine throttle system in the world, having been tested more than 50,000 hours – far more than any mechanical system.

REVOLUTIONARY ADVANCED MIDSECTION
The Verado midsection uses an exclusive four-point, progressive-rate, perimetermount system to decrease vibration by 50 percent. It also makes Verado much easier to handle and more stable to steer at high speeds because the mounts automatically stiffen as engine speeds and loads increase. The result is superior handling and the lowest vibration of any outboard ever built.

ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING
Thanks to an exclusive integrated Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering System, steering is fluid, effortless and seamless. So instead of relying on your muscle power, the Verado System makes turning the wheel and boat effortless under any condition. Unlike conventional hydraulic systems, steering wheel torque is ELIMINATED. The torque is gone, but the feel remains, so you’re always free to make minor steering corrections (an important feature when running performance-oriented hulls). All of which means Verado offers smoother, more precise steering and boat handling than any outboard you’ve ever experienced.
